Early 20th-century tramp art picture frame, richly carved with layered geometric chip-carving throughout. The frame retains its original sepia portrait, adding strong character and historical presence.
The back shows original construction details, including aged paper lining with German text fragments and an old metal hanging loop. Beautifully worn surface with deep patina, consistent with age and long use.
